Looks Like London

My trip to Argentina made me realize I need to get on with seeing the world. I’ve been itching to see the UK most of my life. My family is originally from Scotland, and I think it would be sweet to reconnect with the Old Family. It feels like the right time to head overseas.

Despite “the economy”, motion design seems to be thriving in London. In a region that rains most of the year, it makes sense people will be watching a lot of television. (at least that’s my theory) I’m excited to visit the studios there. I hope I’ll find one with people I vibe with and we can work together. I found out that most of the studios are crammed in one area of London so I think it’ll take only a week to knock on doors and see if I get to play with them. (crossing fingers)

The studios I’d LOVE to play with are:

These studios are just a taste of the talent in the city. Though it would be crazy awesome to collaborate with these particular teams, I’m happy as long as I’m living and working as a motion designer in London.

I’ll be there early June and if fortune smiles on the foolish, I’ll be there for 3-5 years. I think London will be a great beachhead for my European invasion :D
