Hot Nights and Neon Lights

Neon.
This place is great! It’s a studio with some old school talent that’s quietly making some big ripples. Like every other studio in London, I showed up at their doorstep and introduced myself. Tom hooked me up with great gig…which lead to me spending over 2 months with these guys.

Tom, Roland, Charlie, Lauren,  Ben, Chris, Paul, and Nigel. We experimented, shared personal projects we worked on, talked shop, shared music, jokes and compared British sayings with Canadian. I loved every second of it.

The three Directors Tom, Charlie, and Roland have been working together for quite sometime now, already having started a successful studio in London. It became too big so they started Neon. I love that. The fact that they know they can start something new, while staying true to the craft. I’ve learned a lot here. More than any other place I’ve worked at to date. They have high expectations, know the lay of the land, and gave this ambitious Canuck a chance to play in their sandbox.

The inspiration has been in high gear. I always dreamed of finding a studio where I can shared the latest personal projects, and problem solve tech issues. So as this latest project wraps up (I can’t wait to show it off) I look forward to the next ambitious undertaking.

I really hope that this style of studio is the status quo. If it is, I found my place.

Heads up for some new experiments on the horizon.
